Economics of Prevention RFA Released by NIH Common Fund Health Economic Program

The NIH Common Fund's Health Economics program recently released an RFA for R21's on the economics of prevention. This RFA is seeking applications for research "to conduct economic analyses of prevention and health." The call is interested in research applications within four areas: (1) economic evaluation of preventive interventions, (2) evaluations of the effect of provisions of health care reform on preventive health services, (3) modelling the effects of targeting prevention measures, and (4) identification of strategies that promote adoption/implementation of effective prevention measures in different settings and population groups.
